Award Is Largest Private Gift in UC Berkeley History.

MENLO PARK, Calif. – The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation has awarded a $113 million grant to the University of California, Berkeley—the largest private gift in the university’s history. COL seeks submissions for 2007-2008 Excellence in Distance Education Awards to be presented at the 5th Pan-Commonwealth Forum on Open Learning. Closes 31 October 2007.
